How sharing M&M's and learning about "J" can make you laugh

So, I'm sitting in the library reading for my classes (which by the way is way the heck too much reading) and all of the sudden UP POPS SHANA! Okay, up because I'm on the 3rd floor and she had to climb all the steps to get here, but I digress, the important stuff is yet to come.

So I'm reading about the "J" source for the stories in Genesis (remember that a story is Hebrew stuff is more than a story like once upon a time there was a guy, etc. etc.) and I say to Shana, "sheesh, it was a lot easier to be ignorant about this stuff instead of having my brain boil over with junk that makes me wonder if I really knew anything about this book we call the BIBLE anywho." And we talked about it for a moment, and Shana tried to remember all the sources like J, P, and D (and if you don't know them, be happy and keep reading). Then I busted out the Almond M&M's and shared them with her. I love, no, make that LOVE Almond M&M's -note I even capitalize Almond - and we enjoyed them even though you aren't really supposed to have food in the library.

Shana started trying to remember a joke, that is now posted in her blog, and I was tellilng her stupid punny jokes that my lovely wife Lorice had sent me in an e-mail. Then we talked about changing light bulbs, so I busted out iTunes and played some of Garrison Keillor's Pretty Good Joke Show light bulb jokes. We laughed out loud. Which reminds me, not only are you not supposed to eat candy in the library, but you're supposed to maintain some kind of respectful silence or something, d'oh on both counts.

So, Shana updated her blog, I read it and was the FIRST to comment on it (man is it funny, she totally needs to publish them in book form and sell books around the world). Thus, I have updated my very own blog. I'm captain consistency you know, I update my blog once a year whether it needs it or not. Go out there and make it an Almond M&M day, y'all!
